MARIGOT--Two drivers were injured in a head-on collision in Lowlands early Monday morning, the Gendarmerie confirmed.
A car and small truck travelling in opposite directions were involved in the collision.
According to Capitaine Sylvain Jouault, the car was heading towards Marigot when the driver became distracted trying to control children in the back seat and veered onto the wrong side of the road, into the oncoming truck.
The extent of the injuries was not known. The Gendarmerie is investigating the accident.
