Multimillionaire to
speak at Youthfest

PHILIPSBURG--Twenty-four-year-old African American Multi millionaire Ephren Taylor II and BET’s Jeff Johnson are two of the featured speakers at Youthfest 2007, which will be held on St. Maarten, July 11-17.

Johnson will speak on business ethics while Taylor will speak on “Developing a Millionaire Mentality” and “Succeeding in Business God’s Way.”

Youthfest is the annual flagship event of Youth2Xtreme and the Victorious Living Foundation.

The annual event is being hosted for the fourth time this year and comprises five days of workshops and seminars catering to the spiritual health and professional life of young people of St. Maarten and the surrounding islands.

The week of events culminate with the Youthfest Concert on July 14 featuring gospel reggae artist DJ Nicholas, the Youthfest Talent Show on July 15 and a free concert featuring local artists on July 16.

Organizers said Taylor is the youngest African-American Chief Executive Officer of City Capital Corporation (OTCBB:CCCN).

Described as “walking black history” by popular radio show host Tom Joyner, Taylor started his first business venture at age 12, when he began making videogames. By age 17, he had built a multi-million dollar technology company, GoFerretGo.com, organizers said.

At City Capital Corporation, Taylor oversees over US $150 million in assets, serving a diverse client list ranging from Wall Street investors, top executives, professional athletes and even entertainment icons. Taylor is also a well-known guest expert broadcasting to millions of households on local and national television and radio shows including CNBC’s Big Idea, FOX News’ Your World with Neil Cavuto, Bulls & Bears and the Doug Bank’s Morning Show.

He currently hosts the “Soul of Success” radio show now airing on XM Satellite Radio Station on Family Talk 170XM. Taylor’s appeal stretches beyond the United States borders, as he frequently receives interview and appearance requests from international entities, such as the London-based Wealth Monitor and BBC.

Johnson, producer and host of “The Jeff Johnson Chronicles,” that chronicles issues relevant to young people in urban America, is considered one of today’s most gifted leaders in both the political and entertainment arenas.

He was recently named by Source Magazine as one of the hip-hop generation’s key political players.

Johnson’s roles as an activist and strategist have spanned from serving as the National Youth Director for the NAACP to being the founder of My Nation Online.com, an online medium connecting young people ages 16-30 interested in activism, as well as local and national organizations. Additionally, Johnson has been vocal in the national “Save Darfur” campaign.

Recently, Johnson has taken on additional roles at BET including co-hosting “Meet the Faith” and becoming an international correspondent for the network. Johnson was the only American reporter to receive an exclusive interview with the continent of Africa’s first female head of state, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf in Liberia. He also regularly provides columns and commentary for several leading urban lifestyle magazines.
