Restaurant robbed

COLE BAY--A late-night bar and restaurant was robbed early Friday with thieves threatening workers with a gun, emptying a safe on the property and escaping just before daybreak, The Daily Herald understands.
Sources report the Cole Bay restaurant (name withheld on request of company) was held up about 3:30am by armed men who pointed a pistol at staff members and demanded all the money they had. The thieves escaped with an unspecified amount of money from the safe.
