Yves Kinard embarks
on historic sea voyage
MARIGOT--French naval architect and former president of Métimer Yves Kinard left St. Martin Thursday morning bound for Bermuda and the Azores in the first stage of a quest to become the first person since 1936 to cross the Atlantic in the smallest diesel-powered vessel.
