Mega D lectures on HIV
at Gwendoline van Putten
ST. EUSTATIUS--Dancehall singer Mega D visited Gwendoline van Putten School Tuesday to speak with students about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and other issues concerning teenage lives.
The lecture was organised by HIV/AIDS coordinator Shanna Mercera-Gibbs during the students’ free hour. She encouraged the students to use their common sense.
Mega D gave the students a motivational insight in the types of problems they may encounter, and recounted to them the mistakes he had made. “Never stop until you have reached your goals in life,” he told them.
Ricaldo “Tatchie” Fortin of local TV Station CTC recorded the lecture, which will be aired tonight, Friday, at 8:00.
