Dear Editor,

This is what this is clearly all about. Anybody with any common sense sees the underlying purpose of this church-building project.

Disgusting, this church has no better morals than the likes of a casino or brothel, bringing that topic into the equation. (As a matter of fact I prefer both). Who will benefit and build a mansion after gaining their humble followers, may I ask? Who will be the pastor, and who are you to bestow a certain religion on us with our well-earned tax money.

Despicable and beyond my concept of right thinking, this whole project is. And yes. it blatantly reeks of corruption and arrogance. I basically can't believe this escalated as far as it did without earlier protests.

Sports are a by far healthier activity for our youth. Leave religion to individual choice.

Just shame on whoever is behind this terrible scheme. And yes, that is exactly what it is: a shameless scheme.
