I was hanging out with a guy. He wasn't my boyfriend or anything but my friend got mad. She was my best friend, but she got upset because she thinks I was spending more time with him, which is not true at all.

She was the one who said you shouldn't hang out with only some people. So I did that. Now she's angry at me! I hang out with many people so what was the problem with him?

What is the problem? She won't even listen to me, so I can't ask her!

Apparently your friend is jealous of any time you spend with anyone but her, especially if the person is a boy. And maybe she likes this particular boy and is jealous of any time he spends with you.

You can try again to talk to her about all this, but if she continues not listening or speaking to you don't push her. Either she'll get over it or she won't. If she doesn't, her "friendship" doesn't seem to be worth very much.
