Dear Queenie,

  My husband says I have a duty to have sex with him whenever he wants me to, whether I am in the mood or not. If I try to refuse he gets mad and says I’m not a good wife. Sometimes he even insists and won’t take no for an answer.

  I am getting fed up and thinking about getting a divorce. He says I wouldn’t dare and even if I did I don’t have any grounds.

  If your husband is as demanding as you describe he is guilty of emotional and possibly even physical abuse. A lawyer can advise you as to your legal position and whether you have grounds for divorce.
