Wing Tchun aims to deflect force in combat rather than meet force. It is an easy to learn martial art that needs more understanding than others which makes it more learnable for both genders and persons of all age groups. Practicing Wing Tchun since 1995, Glenn Carter, a talented instructor at Marci's Mega Gym, is teaching Wing Tchun since a few months ago. This practice is beneficial and an easy to learn martial art form.
Wing Tchun traditionally begins training with emphasis on the importance of developing good, strong stances and dynamic footwork, considerable strength, stamina, flexible, coordination and fast reaction. There is the development of significant skills advancing to more Wing Tchun manoeuvres.
Wing Tchun is the most preferred martial arts by women's self-defence groups around the world. Surely it cannot be a surprise that Wing Tchun is the only system believed to have been founded by a woman, but is tough enough for a man. Here below is what Marci's Mega gym had to say to the Health & Beauty about the Wing Tchun classes:
Why did your gym decide to offer Wing Tchun classes?
Wing Tchun is an easy to learn martial art that needs more understanding. This makes it learnable for male and female; old or young.
In your opinion, what is the greatest benefit from practicing Wing Tchun versus other forms of martial arts?
I could not say there is any martial art better than another, simply the fact that personalities like Bruce Lee or Jet Li and many others use Wing Tchun as fundamental for their fighting technique.
How can we use the skills of Wing Tchun in daily life?
What is most important with Wing Tchun is the philosophy that teaches one to think logically and move fast while keeping it safe at the same time. This stimulates the left and right side of the brain to perform at a higher velocity with each other.
Why should someone decide to take up Wing Tchun over other forms of martial arts and exercises?
People could always expect to see immediate results after the first class of Wing Tchun.
