The new Thai & Sushi Lounge invites you TONIGHT to join in the celebration of the new beginning of its stylish venue. If you did attend the pre-opening night last Saturday and sampled the food, tonight you can enjoy the full Thai & Sushi menu!
Located in the Puerta del Sol Plaza, the restaurant represents a different and refreshing alternative to restaurant goers on the island. It has kicked off the 2012 season with a new and inspiring menu featuring traditional Sushi and authentic Thai cuisine. Chefs Benjamin Hussit and Paul Gibert will be responsible for delighting guests with their culinary creations.
Chef Hussit offers fresh, irresistible Thai cuisine which he had been perfecting for seven years in different Thai restaurants such as the Thai Savanna and the Thai Xhay's. On the other hand, Chef Gibert will placate sushi lovers' appetites with dishes such as mango shrimp and sweet and spicy salmon sushi.
Stir fries, salads, meats, soups and noodles are only some of the alternatives offered at Mooi Sushi & Thai Lounge. Samples of the menu include the following:
--Shrimp Batter: Fried marinated shrimp with a tempura mix and served with chilli sauce.
--Tom Yum: The most traditional Thai soup with tamarind, lemon grass and flavoured with lime leaf.
--Sua Leung Hei: Marinated beef grilled and served with a special spicy sauce.
--Gang Ped: Red curry cooked with vegetables in coconut milk, flavoured with fresh basil.
--Spicy Tuna Roll: Chives, fresh mint, wakame, red tuna, kimchee sauce.
The menu also offers many vegetarian choices such as the Thai Spring Roll Vege, a vegetables and vermicelli mixture wrapped in a fried spring roll sheet. Chef Benjamin specially recommends the Pad Ka Pow, a spicy dish of stir fried mixed vegetables with chilli and fresh basil.
Opened from Monday to Saturday, the restaurant will serve lunch from 11:00am and dinner from 6:00pm. If you are attending this evening, please be advised that due to a long list of RSVPs, the restaurant is only taking reservations! Come for the food & stay for the ambiance! RSVP @ 544-2693.
