Daytime activities on St. Maarten

Bike riding and swimming are on the cards for all who want to partake in outdoor exercises, get fit and gain that extra stamina for night time clubbing.

If you would like to swim then you can join the Carib Swim Team's Annual Swimathon on Sunday.

A new course and a new sponsor have been confirmed for the upcoming Triple Mini Triathlon on February 5. Sunset Beach Bar at Maho has come on board to offer another great event so its location will be used for the transition area. The new route will be 200M Swim at Maho, 8Km Bike along Airport Road, and a 2Km Run inside of Beacon Hill.

This week's schedule:

Wednesday, January 18.

5:00pm – Road Cycling in Sandy Ground

Grab on to a peloton in Sandy Ground as they ride laps to La Samanna and back.

5:15pm – Belair Group Run

Meet the Road Runners at the Raoul Illidge stadium for a good training run.

Thursday, January 19.

6:00am – Road Riding

It's Hill Day! Meet the roadies in Terres Basses at the phone booth at 6:00am for a tough workout around the island.

Friday, January 20.

5:30am Early Bird Run

Meet the Road Runners at the Burger King parking lot in Cole Bay for a run out to Galisbay and back.

Saturday, January 21.

6:30am – Off Road Mountain Biking

Meet the Cross Country Riders at the entrance to the Bellevue trails in Cole Bay opposite Le Grand Marché.

Sunday, January 22.

9:00am to 3:00pm – Carib Swim Team Swimathon

Swim individually or make a team; non swimmers, head on over to support this fun day.

It's time to get out there and join in some St. Maarten Daytime Activities.
